Cotton

Cotton is a 8-year-old, neutered male Coton de Tulear weighing approximately 10.6 lbs. Cotton is a little guy with a big personality and isn't shy about expressing his feelings! He has been with us for several years as we've helped him work through the trauma of an abusive past. All he wants is to love and be loved, but he's understandably nervous about trusting people. He's excellent about letting you know when something makes him nervous.

Ideal Home

Cotton would be good in a house with other dogs or as an only dog. He is also good with cats. Because of his size, Cotton is not suitable for homes with children under 5.

Training & Support

Cotton is not a fan of having his harness put on or taken off and will bark, growl, lunge, and snap with his mouth to let you know he wants you to stop. He never bites and doesn't want to hurt anyone; he's just communicating his feelings. He sometimes gets anxious and barks at the TV during violent shows. When picking him up, don't do it under his forelegs with him facing you. Pick him up with him facing away from you.
