Kirby

Kirby is a delightful three-year-old male Golden Doodle looking for his forever home! He came to us with his brother, Max, due to a change in his previous owner's life circumstances. Kirby is a well-socialized pup who has lived with a baby, toddler, and an older child, and he's great with other dogs. He's also shown curiosity towards cats, but a slow introduction and supervision are recommended to ensure a harmonious relationship. Kirby is playful, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and on heartworm prevention. While he and Max are not inseparable, they do enjoy each other's company, and it would be wonderful if they could be adopted together. However, Kirby would likely be happy as the only dog or with a canine companion. His coat has been recently groomed into a poodle cut.

Ideal Home

Kirby would thrive in a home that can offer him plenty of play and affection. He has experience living with children of various ages and enjoys the company of other dogs. While he has been curious about cats, his new family should be prepared to supervise initial introductions.

Ongoing Health

Kirby is up-to-date on vaccinations and is on heartworm prevention. He has tested negative for heartworm.

Training & Support

Kirby is a social and loving dog who enjoys being petted and playing. Guidance on continuing his socialization and positive reinforcement training will help him continue to be a well-adjusted companion.

Transportation

Kirby is located in Texas. We do adopt outside of Texas and will work with adopters to figure out transportation after initial application and virtual meets.
