Leggs

Leggs is a resilient, 32-pound, 1-year-old Dutch Shepherd/Black Mouth Cur mix with a beautiful brindle coat. He's a sensitive and intelligent boy who was feral for the first three months of his life. Despite his past, Leggs has bravely embraced new challenges and has become an amazing companion at home. He's a bit of a cuddler who loves to wrap himself in a blanket with his favorite soft toys. Leggs is fantastic on a leash and has shown himself to be incredibly gentle with children and other dogs, including a super senior dog. He enjoys trips to the park, long walks on nature trails, and outings to pet-friendly stores.

Ideal Home

Leggs would thrive in a home that understands his initial need to decompress. He is not a fan of cats, so a feline-free home is a must.

Leggs is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Leggs is crate trained, knows to go to the door when he needs to potty, and is leash trained. He is doing well with basic obedience and threshold training. With a little patience and understanding, you can expect the most loyal and intuitive companion.
