Meet Herbert, also known as Herbie! This handsome 4-year-old is a bundle of love with a playful spirit and a tender soul. Herbie's foster family describes him as having the most sensitive heart, often following them with big, apologetic eyes if he thinks he's done something wrong. He's a gorgeous pup with a sleek black coat and stunning golden tiger stripes that make him truly unique.

Herbie is a fetch fanatic and loves a good game of zoomies, especially when he has a ramp to conquer at an empty skatepark! He's also a dog-friendly dude who gets along well with other dogs, though he can be a bit excitable during introductions. He's a submissive guy who settles in nicely after a good sniff and happy dance. He'd love a calm, friendly dog sibling to help him feel confident.

Ideal Home

Herbie would do best with humans who are home often or like to take him along, perhaps if you work from home or have a steady routine. He adores companionship and loves to be around his people. An active home with older kids who understand his gentle nature would also be a great fit.

Ongoing Health

Herbie takes daily medication to help with his anxiety. He's a champ at taking his meds and it's no big deal for him.

Training & Support

Herbie is potty trained, non-destructive, and happy to share his toys and food with his doggy friends. He is a sensitive soul, so an understanding and patient approach will go a long way.
