Astro (27lb)

Meet Astro! He's a handsome 2-year-old, 27lb Heeler mix with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. Astro was found all on his own in a rough neighborhood in Texas, but a kind volunteer opened their home and heart to him. Now, after receiving all his necessary vet care, Astro is ready to find his forever family. He's an eager-to-please pup who is house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained. Astro is also very motivated by food, toys, and treats, making him a joy to train. He loves to be your number one companion and enjoys quiet cuddles after a day of play.

Ideal Home

Astro is looking for a home where he can be your main focus. He has a bit of a "little man" complex and may occasionally nip at male dogs when competing for treats or attention, so a home without other male dogs would be ideal.

Training & Support

Astro is eager to please and highly treat motivated, which will make training a breeze! He's already house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained. Just be mindful of his "little man" complex when introducing him to other male dogs.

Transportation

Astro is currently in Texas, but out-of-state adopters are welcome! Private transport can be arranged for an additional $200, which includes a health certificate, vet exam, and transportation to your area.
