Yuel's journey began in a crowded city shelter, facing an uncertain future at just six months old. Her early life was marked by hardship, with her mother having lost a leg after a trap incident. Thankfully, Yuel and her siblings were rescued by DoReMi and brought to safety. Initially, Yuel was cautious of the new world, but with patience and kindness, her trust grew. She discovered the comfort of gentle hands and soothing voices, transforming into an affectionate and curious companion. Yuel is a quiet shadow, preferring to stay close to her people. While she might pause at new things, she bravely steps forward with curiosity. She is a delightful dog who enjoys the simple things: a safe, loving home where she can continue to grow at her own pace. Yuel is resilient, and her story is one of quiet strength. She is ready to become a loyal companion and a constant reminder of the power of love.
Yuel is a 3-year-old female dog weighing 31-40 lbs. She is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations.
Ideal Home
Yuel would thrive in a home where she can feel safe, loved, and close to her people. A home with a yard is preferred, but she will do well in an apartment with at least two walks a day. She doesn't necessarily need another dog but enjoys their company. Older children are recommended due to her limited interactions with younger kids.
Ongoing Health
Yuel is generally healthy and has no known ongoing health conditions.
Training & Support
Yuel is house-trained (outdoor and pee pad) and crate-trained. She walks well on a leash and is not reactive to people or dogs. She has shown no major destructive behavior but may tear up pee pads if corrected. She rides well in the car but may experience some carsickness on longer rides, which should improve with practice.
