Squirt

Squirt is a 3-month-old Mastiff/Terrier mix with a brave spirit! She arrived at the shelter with wounds from rough treatment by her mother and has malformed back legs, likely a genetic defect. Despite her challenges, Squirt is a playful and curious puppy who approaches life with enthusiasm and still does everything a typical puppy would! She is part of our special Foster to Adopt program, allowing her to experience a loving home environment while awaiting her spay surgery. Once altered, her adoption will be finalized. This program helps puppies like Squirt focus on training and enrichment outside the shelter.

Ideal Home

To be a part of Squirt's Foster to Adopt program, you MUST reside in Pennsylvania and be within an hour's drive of our shelter in Chambersburg.

Ongoing Health

Squirt has malformed back legs and has healed from past wounds. She will require spay surgery before her adoption is finalized. She will also need to return to the shelter for necessary vetting throughout the Foster to Adopt program.

Training & Support

Squirt is a young puppy and will benefit greatly from consistent training and socialization in a home environment. She is still learning and will need guidance to help her thrive.
