Brownie

Meet Brownie, the sweet Border Collie looking for his fresh start! This handsome boy is approximately 2 years old and was heartbreakingly found at a local farmers market. Despite his rough beginning, Brownie's spirit remains bright, and he absolutely adores people. He's a medium-sized pup, around 35 pounds, and has a heart full of love to give.

Ideal Home

Brownie would love a home that can offer him the love, stability, and forever he's always deserved. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and children, making him a great candidate for a family.

Ongoing Health

Brownie has been neutered and is currently undergoing treatment for heartworms using the slow-kill method. He has completed his 30-day doxycycline course and received his ProHeart 12 injection. He will need to continue on Advantage Multi or NexGard PLUS, and we will provide the next six months of prevention to support his ongoing care.

Training & Support

He is crate trained and house trained, and he's currently learning his basic commands. Brownie is eager to please, which makes him a fantastic candidate for continued training. His intelligence and attentiveness are typical of the Border Collie breed.

• Once an application is submitted, you will have a group text with his foster or rescuer.
• A virtual home visit and meet-and-greet with Brownie will follow, if available.
• A reference check will be conducted.
• Upon board approval, an adoption contract will be prepared.
• Final details, including the adoption contribution and transport arrangements, will be made.

Brownie is currently in a foster home located in Ft Worth, TX. Transport is arranged post-adoption.
