Solstice

Solstice is a sweet, shy young dog who had a rough start in life. She recently became a mom and was also heartworm positive, but she's on the road to recovery and her puppies have found their forever homes. Solstice is quiet but full of love, and while she's initially nervous around new people, she quickly warms up and shows a strong desire to be friends with everyone. She also gets along well with most dogs. However, cats make her nervous, so she'd do best in a home without feline friends. With a gentle hand and patience, Solstice will surely blossom into the amazing dog she's meant to be. She prefers a calm environment with a predictable routine, but she enjoys playful moments once she's comfortable and even likes car rides!

Ideal Home

A quieter home with a steady schedule would be best for Solstice, though she's not opposed to some playful romps once she feels secure. A home without cats is preferred.

Solstice is recovering from heartworm.

Solstice is shy with new people but eager to make friends. A gentle hand and patience will help her gain confidence.
