About Nora

A true diamond in the ruff searching for her happily ever after! Nora's past life was not great, yet she holds that against no one. This sweet girl was found in Rouge Park in freezing temperatures, hairless, with eyes so infected she could hardly open them, and nails so overgrown her paws were painful to the touch. Yet still, she gave her foster mom her trust and loved her with her whole heart. In just a few short weeks, her hair began to regrow, her eyes began to see, and she would let foster mom hold her paw long enough to get a nail clipped one at a time. She slowly made friends with the resident pets, and her very best friend is a cat! Her foster kids think she's great; they call her their short-legged queen.

Nora is a high-needs girl. She demands to be close to her pack and bonds deeply. She will show you her affection by "corn cobbing" you and occasionally gets overzealous and can leave a pinch mark. She would do best with someone without sensitive skin. Nora also loves to chew. She can be kept busy with bones and puzzles, but if left alone, she will chew other things. Nora also likes to eat everything: rocks, dirt, toys – there really isn't anything she doesn't deem edible. Because of this, her foster mom thinks she would need a home with older or no kids, and parents that work from home or are retired. If you give her the time, she will love you beyond words!

She loves to run around outside but needs to be watched carefully. Car rides are not her favorite! She loves to chew and needs to be kept busy with bones and puzzles.
