Scarlett

Scarlett is a 7-year-old Bloodhound, a sweet and gentle girl with a low to moderate energy level. She came to us from Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control. When she arrived, she was a bit overweight and needed some medical attention for a mass. After receiving the care she needed and recovering, Scarlett is now healed and ready to start her next chapter in a loving home! She would be well suited for a quieter household and could do well in an apartment or condo setting where she can enjoy a relaxed routine. Like many hounds, Scarlett is still learning polite leash manners and will benefit from continued practice and patience on walks. She does well with other dogs and enjoys calm companionship. Scarlett is looking for a kind, understanding family who will appreciate her gentle nature and give her the comfort and stability she deserves.

Ideal Home

Scarlett would thrive in a quieter household. She could do well in an apartment or condo, as long as she can enjoy a relaxed routine. Slow and thoughtful introductions would be important in a home with children or cats, as her interactions with them have not yet been observed.

Ongoing Health

Scarlett received medical attention for a mass and is now healed. She was also overweight upon arrival but has since recovered.

Scarlett is still learning polite leash manners and will benefit from continued practice and patience on walks.
