KC

Meet KC, a 1.5-year-old, 25lb warrior princess with an incredible spirit! KC was born on the streets and, despite a severe accident that left her with hind-end paralysis, her will to live and sweet disposition never wavered. She enjoys life to the fullest, using a custom wheelchair to zoom around, swim, and play. KC is incredibly affectionate, playful, and cuddly, and doesn't see herself as any different from other dogs. She is ready for her next chapter and eager to share unconditional love.

Ideal Home

KC would thrive in a home where someone is around often, with minimal stairs and open living space. A dog friend would be wonderful, but she would also happily be the sole focus of affection.

Ongoing Health

KC has hind-end paralysis and requires attentive and committed care. She wears a diaper and her foster has created a special changing station to help her stay clean. She enjoys baths once or twice a week. She must remain on a veterinarian-recommended diet that supports her urinary health. Keeping KC clean, dry, and moisturized is essential to her comfort and overall wellbeing.

Training & Support

KC requires some lifting (approximately 30-40 lbs). Her foster has developed a comfortable routine for her care.
