Drax

Meet Drax! This approximately 8-year-old, 70 lb goofball is a real sweetheart with a big heart. Visually resembling an American Bully mix, Drax has been waiting far too long for his forever home and is currently our longest-running "Underdog." He greets everyone with enthusiastic tail wags, slobbery kisses, and a giant smile. He's spent years watching other dogs find their families and is more than ready for a couch to call his own and a human to love.

Ideal Home

Drax wants to be the center of attention and would do best as the only pet in the home where he can receive all your affection. He is incredibly devoted to his humans and would thrive with a family that is home often.

Training & Support

Drax walks beautifully on a leash and is a perfect co-pilot in the car. He absolutely adores people and loves to be right next to his humans, firmly believing laps are meant for sitting, regardless of his size! Crates are not Drax's favorite place right now, but he is fully capable of adjusting with proper routine and training. To help him transition, the rescue will provide a complimentary heavy-duty crate.
