Meet Chucky, the 77-pound Staffy mix with cheeks so irresistibly squeezable, you might just find yourself in a permanent cuddle session! At 4 years old, this hunk of love has mastered the art of being a gentle giant. Chucky’s idea of a perfect day? Snuggling up right next to you—preferably in your lap, because he’s convinced he’s still a pint-sized pup. This laid-back guy is as easygoing as they come. Whether it’s a leisurely walk around the neighborhood, a bit of toy-flinging fun, or just sprawling out on the couch, Chucky’s all in. And when it comes to bonding, Chucky’s loyalty knows no bounds—he thrives on the love and security that only a great family can offer.

Ideal Home

Chucky would love a home with a yard for sniffing adventures. He is looking for a family with older children, ages 10 and up, as he can get a bit jealous when he's not getting all the attention. While he has done well with smaller female dogs in the past, he does not do well with big male dogs.

Training & Support

Chucky is a pro at "sit" and "stay" and is working on his impulse control around small critters. He is crate trained but prefers a cozy corner with a baby gate. He thrives on routine and a secure environment.

Chucky is currently being fostered in Texas and will be transported to his forever home by our rescue. Transports depart each week.
