Fletcher

Fletcher is a handsome boy looking for his foster or forever home! He was owner-surrendered due to concerns around a new baby in the home. Fletcher can be a bit nervous around new people, and a baby turned toddler was too much for him to handle. He shows his nervousness by growling, lip licking, and giving warnings. However, with patience and treats, Fletcher has made some human adult friends and has become very loving and affectionate once he's comfortable. He has also done well around other dogs at doggy daycare once he loosened up.

Ideal Home

Fletcher needs an adults-only, low-traffic home with owners experienced with Border Collies. He also needs space for exercise.

Ongoing Health

Fletcher is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Fletcher can be nervous around new people and may display warning behaviors like growling and lip licking. Patience and positive reinforcement with treats are key to helping him feel comfortable. He is house-trained and can be crated.
