Missy

Missy is a beautiful German Shepherd who came into our program after her previous owner passed away. She was pregnant and in need of a safe place to have her puppies, and thankfully, she found it! Missy required an emergency C-section to safely deliver her nine healthy puppies. During this procedure, she was also spayed. Since then, Missy has been a devoted mother, and now that her puppies are growing up, she's ready to find her very own loving home. Missy is heartworm negative and in great health.

Missy is a loyal and devoted companion, as is typical for her breed. She takes her role as a protector seriously and bonds deeply with her family. However, she can be cautious around new people and has a strong bark, so she's looking for a home without young children. This will allow her the space and time to build trust at her own pace. When she's not on duty, Missy absolutely loves to swim! She's still young at heart and ready for fun adventures.

Missy is looking for an experienced owner who understands and appreciates the loyal nature of a German Shepherd. In return, she'll offer unwavering companionship and a lifetime of love.

Ideal Home

Missy would do best in a home without young children, where her need for personal space and time to build trust with new people can be respected. An experienced owner who understands the German Shepherd breed is preferred.

Ongoing Health

Missy is heartworm negative and has been spayed. She is in good health.

Training & Support

Missy can be wary of strangers and has a strong guard dog bark. She will need a patient owner who can help her build confidence and trust with new people.
