Casper

Meet Casper! This 1-year-old mixed breed, weighing around 35 pounds, is a playful and affectionate boy eager to find a family to help him shine. Casper is all about fun, whether he's enjoying his favorite toys, playing with other dogs, or splashing around. He truly enjoys the company of other pups and has even gotten along swimmingly with chickens! When the day's adventures are over, Casper transforms into a total cuddle bug, loving to be close to his people and snuggling up in bed at night. He's also a pro on leash, making him a fantastic partner for neighborhood strolls.

Ideal Home

Casper would thrive in a home that can continue his positive reinforcement training and help him build confidence. A home with other dogs would be wonderful, as he enjoys having canine companions.

Ongoing Health

Casper is a healthy boy with no known ongoing health issues.

Training & Support

Casper is still learning his manners and will need continued training to address jumping up and counter-surfing. He's also working on building confidence around new and unfamiliar things like vacuums and delivery trucks. While he's making great progress with house training, he can get a little anxious when left alone, so a family that can help him build independence will be key. He's not a fan of crates but will settle in them when needed. Casper has not been tested with cats or children.
