About Tonka

Tonka is an 80-pound lap dog who loves nothing more than to be by your side. He was rescued by the Goodyear Police Department after being left tied to a motel parking structure and was then rescued from the euthanasia list by ABC. Tonka is a beautiful dark brindle with white markings and he takes treats very gently. He is looking for a devoted and experienced adopter who can manage his size and strength.

Ideal Home

Tonka's ideal home is with you, his best friend! He's looking for a home where he can be the only four-legged sidekick. He is not good with other dogs, cats, or children of any age.

Tonka is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
