Rocky is a 6-year-old, 90-pound male Pit Bull Terrier who is neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. He was found abandoned in Houston, TX, hungry and in need of help. Rocky is a friendly, sweet, and low-energy dog who is easy-going and well-behaved. He enjoys leash walks and is crate-trained and house-trained. Rocky loves to be indoors and is good while inside. However, due to his past experiences of being abandoned and struggling for food, he can be protective of his food and should have his own bowl and food. He is accustomed to large dogs, especially females, and gets along great with them. Rocky is also good with cats and is not reactive to them. He enjoys resting but could benefit from more activity. His current caregiver doesn't have the time for longer walks, so Rocky is seeking a home where he can find a best friend and get the walks he truly enjoys.

Rocky would thrive in a home where he can be a beloved best friend and receive ample opportunities for walks. He gets along well with large dogs, especially females, and is good with cats.
