Galileo

Galileo is a handsome purebred Pekingese who is around 3 to 4 years old and is already neutered. He's a quiet, loving boy who would make an excellent emotional support companion. He is house-trained and very affectionate, though he does get a little nervous during thunder and fireworks.

Ideal Home

A loving home that can provide reassurance during loud noises like thunder and fireworks would be ideal for Galileo.

Ongoing Health

Galileo recently had a full medical workup, including his neutering, at Westridge Animal Hospital. All his vaccinations, including rabies and Bordetella, are up to date. He has also tested heartworm-negative. Medical records are available for review.

Training & Support

Galileo is already house-trained and a very loving companion. His only known behavioral concern is a fear of thunder and fireworks, for which a supportive environment will be most helpful.

Transportation

Galileo is currently in our rescue in Texarkana, Texas. Our next transport date is July 15th. We can transport him to Arnold, Missouri; Springfield, Illinois; Bloomington, Illinois; Rockford, Illinois; and Madison, Wisconsin. Please note that for this transport, we are asking those who might normally pick up in Madison, Wisconsin, to please pick up in Rockford, Illinois, as we do not have an extra driver at this time. A $75 transport fee is due to secure his spot on the transport, but his adoption fee is not due until you pick him up at your chosen location on July 15th.
