Delaney Dawn is a sweet and resilient Blackmouth Cur mix who is about 1.5 years old. She came to us in rough shape, suffering from severe neglect, which led to hair loss and skin issues. Thankfully, with the love and care of her foster mom, her fur has grown back, and she's looking like the platinum blonde beauty she is! Delaney Dawn is a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with children and other dogs, but she has a firm "no cats allowed" policy. She's mostly potty-trained with a regular schedule and is also crate-trained, though her ultimate dream is to snuggle up on the people bed for naps. After a difficult start, Delaney Dawn is eager to find a loving home where she can live out the rest of her life as the good girl she deserves to be.

Ideal Home

Delaney Dawn thrives in a home with children and other dogs. She is not a good fit for homes with cats.

Ongoing Health

Delaney Dawn tested positive for heartworm due to past neglect and is currently undergoing medication treatment.

Training & Support

Delaney Dawn is mostly potty-trained when let out on a regular schedule and is crate-trained. She has a strong preference for sleeping on the people bed. Consistency with potty breaks will help her fully master this skill.
