Stacy

Stacy is a sweet Australian Cattle Dog mix, born around October 2024. After she lovingly raised her puppies in rescue, this gentle girl is now ready to find her very own forever home. Stacy is quite shy when first meeting new people, but with a little time and patience, her affectionate and sensitive personality truly blossoms. She forms a strong bond with her people and loves to stay close to her foster mom once she feels safe and comfortable.

Ideal Home

Stacy would thrive in a calm, quieter home environment where she can build confidence at her own pace. She would do best with older children who can understand and respect her need for space and her gentle nature. A confident canine companion would also be a great addition to her home, helping her learn the ropes.

Ongoing Health

Stacy is potty trained, though she may occasionally have some nervous tinkles when she's meeting new people or in unfamiliar situations. She is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee includes a full veterinary exam, flea and tick preventative, and heartworm preventative.

Training & Support

Stacy is still working on building her confidence on a leash and can be easily startled. When she feels scared, she might back away, flatten herself to the ground, or try to hide. Her future family should be prepared to continue helping her build confidence through patience, encouragement, and positive experiences. She does great in a kennel and is a good car rider.
