Carlos is a 7-month-old dog with a soul that seems much older and wiser. He came to us from the streets of a Mexican border town, carrying himself with remarkable grace. Weighing in at about 30 lbs, he's a perfect size – substantial enough to feel solid, yet still very manageable. Carlos navigates life with a calm demeanor, as if he already understands what truly matters, and chaos isn't on his list.
He’s a sweet and steady companion, offering affectionate hugs that feel grounding and reassuring. Carlos is always attuned to his people, offering quiet checks to make sure everyone is doing well. He's obedient and eager to please, possessing a natural awareness that many puppies are still developing. He pays attention in an easy, unforced way, always observing and listening.
Carlos has a rare energy level: he's a puppy, but a peaceful one. He enjoys playtime in the yard and gets along wonderfully with other dogs, so he would likely thrive with a canine sibling. Once playtime is over, he transitions seamlessly to settling down indoors, content to observe the world from a window or simply be a quiet presence in the room without demanding attention. His companionship is calm and fits easily into your day, choosing to be near you without being overbearing. Carlos is a dog who has truly grown into himself.

Carlos would love a home with a dog sibling. We recommend homes with children 10 years and over to ensure the best fit for both Carlos and the family.
