Meet Mammy, a beautiful black fluffy Lab/Shepherd mix girl! 🖤🐾 Mammy has big feelings about shelter life and can be loud and a bit wild in her kennel, but this is simply because she's stressed by the noise and chaos. Underneath it all, she's an incredibly sweet dog who needs time to decompress and learn to relax. She might not settle in overnight, and transitions can be tough for her initially, but once she trusts you, she becomes your most loyal, goofy, loving, and cuddly companion. Mammy needs patience, consistency, and someone who can see past her kennel behavior to unlock her true potential as a best friend. 💛

Ongoing Health

Mammy will come with low-cost spay/neuter vouchers for select Livingston County Vets. Spay/neuter costs are separate and depend on your chosen vet, but the voucher will cover a significant portion. You will be responsible for rabies vaccination and registration fees.

Training & Support

Mammy needs patience and consistency to learn to relax and trust. Seeing past her initial kennel behavior is key to building a strong bond. We are unsure how she is with cats as she is not exposed to them here.

• Serious inquiries must make an appointment for a meet and greet.
• Must own your home or have written landlord approval.
• Current pets must be up to date on vaccinations and registration.
• A meet and greet with any resident dogs will be recommended to ensure a smoother transition.
• The adoption fee is $80 and includes a microchip and some vaccines.
