TROY

Troy is a sweet senior gentleman who is looking for a quiet and calm home to live out his golden years. He found himself in our care when his beloved owner, who had him since he was a pup, had to move into long-term care. This means Troy has lost the only home and person he has ever known, and he's a bit unsure of the world right now. He's always been the only pet in his previous home and wasn't socialized much outside of short daily walks. Because of this, Troy needs to be the one and only pet in his new home. Once he feels comfortable and safe, his sweet and loving side really shines through, and he makes for a wonderful companion. He enjoys short strolls and has a strong appreciation for tasty treats, though moderation is key to help him maintain a healthy weight. To help him adjust, he's bringing all his favorite toys and his bed from his original home. Troy would be a fantastic companion for a senior citizen looking for a devoted friend.
