Ongoing Health

Diego Jr. has Masticatory Myositis (Eosinophilic Myositis), a condition affecting the muscles used for chewing. This has caused some muscle loss, resulting in a more sunken appearance of his head. He is on a treatment plan and doing well with medication and routine follow-up care. This condition is not contagious and does not affect his loving personality. Diego needs consistent medical care and safe chew enrichment to keep his jaw muscles active.
