Spooky

Spooky is a sweet and playful pup who came into rescue with her siblings, Hank The Tank and Cowboy. She's estimated to be around 5 months old and is likely a mix of Lab, Great Dane, and Catahoula, with a sturdy build and a friendly disposition. Spooky loves attention and food, and with proper training and socialization, she'll make a wonderful companion.

Ideal Home

Spooky would do well in a home with older children and other dogs. While her compatibility with cats is unknown, early socialization could help her adjust. A securely fenced yard is essential for her exercise and play.

Ongoing Health

Spooky was treated for hookworms and roundworms and may require a follow-up deworming. She is on Simparica Trio for flea and heartworm prevention but is too young for a heartworm test. She weighed 32.4 pounds as of 12/30/24 and is expected to grow into a large dog.

Training & Support

Spooky is not yet housetrained or crate trained and is still learning to walk on a leash. She will need consistent training to learn good manners, including proper chewing habits. Providing plenty of appropriate chew toys is important to redirect her chewing.
