About Dahlia Daisy Flower the MINI Lab

Dahlia Daisy Flower is a delightful 10-month-old "itty bitty labbie pittie" who is as sweet as she is beautiful. She currently weighs around 35 pounds and is expected to reach a maximum of 45 pounds. Dahlia is a morning person, always ready for adventure after a good night's sleep in her crate. She's a whiz on leash, though squirrels can be a tempting distraction! Her love for exploration means she's a natural on trails and in parks, where she makes friends with everyone, including other dogs. While she can be a bit shy with new people, her warmth and sweetness quickly shine through. Dahlia would make an incredible camping buddy, especially if there's water to splash in!

Ideal Home

Dahlia thrives in an active home that can provide plenty of opportunities for exercise and exploration. She enjoys being with other dogs and would be happiest with a playful canine companion or regular visits to doggy daycare. Homes with shared walls should consider her initial vocalizations when left alone in her crate. While she enjoys her crate at night, she would eventually love to share a bed with her humans. She has not been tested with cats, but we believe she would do well with respectful children aged 8 and up.

Ongoing Health

Dahlia is up-to-date on all her vaccinations and has been spayed. She is on flea and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Dahlia is house and crate trained, though she may cry initially when left alone in her crate. This is something that will need to be re-established in her new home. She is generally well-behaved but would benefit from continued socialization and positive reinforcement training. Her love for pinecones and sticks is a fun quirk!
