Aspen is a 5-year-old, 48 lb Bully breed blend looking for her forever home! This sweet and affectionate girl is energetic, active, and independent, with a personality as smart as she is responsive to her people. Aspen is a strong and muscular pup who may have some herding instincts, possibly from her Cattle Dog/Pitbull mix heritage. She has had positive interactions with other dogs and enjoys small, off-leash playgroups, especially with male dogs of similar size and play style. Aspen is house and crate trained, and with regular exercise and attention, she settles in beautifully. She is at risk of euthanasia and could be put down any day, so please consider opening your heart and home to this deserving pup.

Ideal Home

Aspen would thrive in a home with an experienced owner who can provide her with consistent structure and a loving environment. Due to her energetic play style and potential herding instincts, she's best suited for homes with respectful older children (16+) and no cats or other small animals, as she has a strong prey drive. While she can live with another male dog of similar size and play style, shelter staff feel she would do best as an only pet.

Training & Support

Aspen would benefit from positive reinforcement training classes to refresh her basic commands and leash manners. Consistent one-on-one attention and regular exercise will help her settle in beautifully.
