Meet Rac! This handsome 62 lb Husky mix, born around March 11, 2023, is a bundle of joy with adorable raccoon-like markings. Rac is an outgoing and active boy who loves to play, especially with his doggy friends and his foster dad. He enjoys long walks and exciting adventures, and while he might need a little encouragement to hop into the car, he truly loves the rides once he's in! Rac can be a little shy at first, but with a little patience and love, he blossoms into a loyal and devoted best friend. He was rescued during a harsh winter freeze after being found roaming without shelter. Thankfully, a kind neighbor and then his foster dad stepped in to give him a chance at a better life. Rac even spent time with a trainer to help him adjust to indoor living. He's doing wonderfully in his foster home with his dog siblings, though he's a bit too energetic for kitties. His foster dad describes him as very sweet and eager for attention.
Ideal Home
Rac would thrive in an active home where he can go on hikes, play with energetic canine companions, and snuggle with his loved ones. He's eager to learn and enjoys car rides.
Ongoing Health
Rac is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.
Training & Support
Rac is kennel and potty trained. He is also dog friendly.
