Mochi is a 2-year-old German Shepherd mix weighing approximately 82 pounds of loyalty, affection, and thoughtful charm. He’s a wonderful balance of active adventure buddy and relaxed couch companion, happy to join you for a walk, hike, or outing and just as content settling in at home afterward. Mochi has a sweet, steady temperament and truly loves people. He bonds deeply with his humans and thrives on connection, attention, and shared routines. He does well with kids and enjoys being part of a household where he can feel included and valued.

His story began when he was found living on an uncleared lot in Old East Dallas. Thanks to the care and commitment of his foster family, Mochi has made a full transformation from a street dog into a loving, affectionate companion who enjoys the comforts of home life. One of Mochi’s endearing quirks is his love for string cheese, which earned him the nickname “Mocheezy.”

While he has had professional training, he prefers space from other dogs when out and about and can be strong on leash if he notices them.
