Micaela

Micaela is a beautiful and resilient husky mix, approximately 2 years old, who has overcome immense hardship. She arrived at the shelter in pain with a fractured jaw, bleeding gums, and dead teeth due to a severe, untreated injury. Despite her difficult past, Micaela is a gentle soul who leans into affection and watches her caregivers with grateful eyes. Her journey to healing has begun, and she is now ready to find her forever home.

Ongoing Health

Micaela is currently undergoing treatment for a fractured jaw and has had several dead teeth removed. She is also heartworm positive and has begun slow-kill treatment for a full recovery.

Training & Support

Micaela is still learning to trust and is slowly discovering that she is safe. She responds well to gentle touch and will need continued patience and love as she continues her healing journey.
