Dakota

Dakota is a handsome Shepherd mix who is approximately 4-5 years old and weighs 78 pounds. He's a wonderful companion who is easy to live with and has become a favorite among our volunteers. Dakota walks beautifully on a leash, rarely pulls, and enjoys exploring new places. He strikes a great balance between playful and calm, happy to engage with a squeaky toy or simply relax with his people. He's done well at adoption events, enjoys meeting new people, and his gentle nature shines through in everything he does. Dakota is happy to head back to his kennel when asked and would make a great addition for neighborhood walks, weekend adventures, or just cozying up at home.

Dakota would love a home where he can be a cherished member of the family, joining in on walks and downtime alike.

Dakota is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Dakota is house-trained and knows basic commands. He is generally an easy-going dog who responds well to direction.
