Macho is a sweet and smart boy with the perfect balance of adventure and cuddle time. He absolutely loves belly rubs and will happily soak up affection. When it’s treat time, Macho shows off his skills by catching treats right out of the air—he’s a clever one! This guy is a true enthusiast for long walks and play time outside. If it were up to him, he’d just keep going, happily exploring the world by your side. He’s intelligent, easily trainable, and already knows the command “sit.” He is both dog and cat friendly, a big bonus! Inside the house, Macho is calm, relaxed, and well-mannered. He’s very chill indoors, enjoys cuddling, and has had no accidents in the house. He transitions nicely from wide-eyed wanderer to laid-back homebody. Macho was rescued from euthanasia with minutes to spare! He is such a sweet boy who has not received the love and care he deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal walking buddy who’s equally happy to curl up with you afterward, Macho might just be your perfect match. 💙

Macho would thrive in a home that can keep up with his love for adventure and long walks, but also appreciates his calm and cuddly indoor demeanor.
Ongoing Health
Sadly, Macho was heartworm positive, but he is currently being treated with the fast-kill method, as recommended by veterinarians. He will be ready for adoption once his treatment is complete. Macho is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and on preventatives.
Training & Support
Macho is intelligent and easily trainable, already knowing the command "sit." He is also well-mannered indoors and house-trained.
