Meet Roo!
Roo is a smart and spirited cattle dog mix who is ready to find her perfect match. She embodies all the incredible traits of her breed: loyal, eager to be involved in everything you do, and always up for the next adventure! She is estimated to be 4 months old and weighs 19lbs as of July 10th. Roo is not a fan of going into her crate, but she settles down quickly and does well once inside. She is not destructive, especially when her mind and body are kept busy.
Ideal Home
Roo would absolutely thrive in a home with another playful dog who can match her energy. Having a canine companion helps keep her engaged, gives her an outlet for play, and allows her to be the happy, confident dog she's meant to be. She needs an active home that understands the physical and mental exercise a cattle dog requires. She is not a good fit for first-time dog owners and will not do well in an apartment. An experienced cattle dog owner with a fenced yard and a commitment to continuing her training and helping her reach her full potential would be ideal.
