Meet Dafne Doo! This beautiful 66 lb Siberian Husky, with an estimated birthday of December 15, 2023, is ready for her second chance at life. She's full of love and joy, and in true Husky fashion, she shows her affection by "talking" to you and giving the best hugs. Dafne was rescued from a county shelter where she was facing euthanasia due to overcrowding, despite being happy and healthy.
Ideal Home
Dafne would love a family who enjoys daily walks as much as she does, and who might take her on occasional trips to the beach or mountains. Really, anywhere is great as long as she's with you! She also has a passion for swimming and is an Olympic-level doggy paddler! While Dafne gets along well with other dogs, especially puppies, and is great with kids of all ages due to her gentle, playful, and patient nature, she would also thrive in a home where she can be the center of attention and give all her love. If you're familiar with the Husky breed, you'll be impressed by her calm, gentle, and sweet demeanor, and her gorgeous tri-coloring with a brown undercoat.

Transporation
Dafne is located in Houston, TX. Transport is available out of state. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles converted for dog transport. Adopters can track the van using the Life360 app and receive updates. Facebook chats are also available for tracking.
