Mishka is a stunning senior Alaskan Malamute, around 10 years old and weighing 117 lbs. If you’ve been dreaming of a calm, loyal, larger-than-life best friend, Mishka is your girl. She brings all the beauty of the breed without the chaos — she’s already done the growing, learning, and mischief-making. Now? She’s just here to love you. Mishka walks like a dream on a loose leash and is obsessed with car rides, making her your ultimate co-pilot. She doesn’t need any training as she’s got life figured out. Mishka is gentle, easygoing, and an absolute joy to live with. She is also great with older kids (elementary age and up) and does well with other large dogs. Mishka has a refined taste and prefers chicken & rice, turkey & rice, or hamburger & rice. She will kindly donate kibble to the birds.

Ideal Home

Mishka would thrive in a laid-back home that appreciates a calm, confident companion. A family with older kids or adults, and room in your heart (and your car) for a 117 lb ride-or-die bestie would be perfect.

Ongoing Health

Mishka takes a thyroid pill twice daily, which is simple, affordable, and costs about $4/month on Chewy.

Training & Support

Mishka is a Malamute, and yes, she has that classic independent, slightly stubborn streak. However, she doesn’t have bad habits, so there’s nothing to “fix.” She is exactly who she is, and who she is, is wonderful.
