Odie

Meet Odie! Just like Garfield's doggy buddy, this Odie is super loveable, good-natured, friendly, silly, loyal, fun-loving, and sometimes a bit goofy. This 18-month-old yellow Lab mix sports white leggings and at 69 pounds, he is quite an athlete! Odie loves his walks and while squirrels can grab his attention, neighborhood foxes walk by without capturing his interest. In his quieter moments, Odie is a sun-worshipper who enjoys bird watching while relaxing outside. Having him close by in the yard helps his foster mom's weeding chores almost seem pleasant! His foster family laughs when Odie is in the kitchen and he stares out the window – they just aren't quite sure what is grabbing his attention! Odie is house- and crate-trained and ready to settle in with a forever family who can't wait to spend summer with a new buddy.

Ideal Home

Odie would thrive in a home that can keep up with his athletic nature and provide plenty of outdoor time. We cannot adopt to homes where electric-shock fencing systems or training collars are used.

Ongoing Health

Odie is micro-chipped, neutered, and up-to-date on all his vaccinations.

Training & Support

Odie is house- and crate-trained.

Odie is currently in the Philadelphia and tri-state area (South Jersey and northern Delaware). Local adoptions are preferred.
