Mildred

Hi, my name is Mildred. I was found as a stray, skinny and unsure about people. I didn't really know what it meant to be cared for or live inside. At first, I was pretty nervous, but I've been learning that people can be kind. I've gained some healthy weight, though I still have a little way to go. I'm making slow but steady progress in trusting the humans around me. I currently live with another dog who helps me feel more comfortable, and we're both learning that life with people is pretty great. I may take a little time to warm up, but once I do, you'll see how special I really am.
