Destiny

Meet Destiny! This sweet girl is about one year old and has overcome so much. She was found alone in a field in Stockton, looking more like a neglected hairless bear than a dog. Her mouth appeared broken with her teeth sticking out, and she suffered from mange and ringworm. Thankfully, her foster mom has nursed her back to health, a process that took a lot of dedication as Destiny couldn't find a foster initially. She has undergone two surgeries to repair a hole in her palate, likely caused by a firework or electrical incident. While a small hole remains, she can eat larger kibble and ground meats. Destiny is an energetic, small dog, around 35 pounds, with long arms and a playful spirit. She adores other dogs and people, though she's not a fan of leashes – understandable given her past. She enjoys jumping to greet people and gives great kisses with her tongue often peeking out! We believe she may be a Formosan Mountain Dog or terrier mix.

A home that can give her everything she deserves and understand she's been through a lot.

Ongoing Health

Destiny has a small hole in her palate but can eat larger kibble and ground meats. She has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Destiny would benefit from puppy training classes. She tends to jump when excited to greet people.
