Himari is a sweet 10-month-old terrier mix who weighs about 22 lbs and is expected to reach around 33 lbs. She was born at the shelter to a rescued mother and is a bundle of affectionate, playful, and loving energy. While she's learning to trust, she can be a little shy and nervous with new people, but with a little patience, her sweet nature shines through. She absolutely loves to run and play with her dog friends.
Ideal Home
Himari would thrive in a home with families who understand and have experience with the unique needs and behaviors of rescued animals. She needs high tolerance and patience, as she is not yet house-trained. A family with a background in dog behavior and training would be ideal, providing her with the guidance and understanding she needs to blossom.
Ongoing Health
Himari has received a comprehensive health protocol including spay/neuter certificate, DHPPI and Rabies vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, deworming, microchipping, a 4DX test, negative heartworm test, and monthly Nexgard Spectra preventive protection. She also comes with a health certificate and vaccination booklet.
Training & Support
Himari is not house-trained and will require a family committed to working on this. She is also a rescued animal and may need time to adjust and decompress in her new environment. Patience, understanding, and consistent positive reinforcement will be key to her success.

Transportation
Himari is currently being fostered in Matamoros, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our next cross-country trip if adopted. A transport fee of $400.00 is the responsibility of the adopter and is payable prior to departure. This service will be provided by a transport company and will deliver directly to the adopter's home address.
