Violet

Meet Violet! This sweet and loyal girl is about 1.5 years old and is ready to find her forever home. Violet was found roaming the streets of Houston, TX, but despite her tough beginnings, she remains incredibly trusting and loving. She's a world-class cuddler who will army crawl across any surface just to be close to you, and her tongue is always sticking out in happy anticipation. Violet is loyal to the core and is obsessed with playing tug and with the hose. She is, however, terrified of squeaky toys.

Ideal Home

Violet's ideal home would include an adopter who is willing to continue her training to build her confidence. She also thrives with another dog friend, as she gains a lot of confidence from other dogs and is good with dogs of all sizes. While kid-friendly, she can be a little scared of loud little ones, so a home without very young, boisterous children would be best.

Ongoing Health

Violet is spayed, vaccinated, and fully potty trained.

Training & Support

Violet knows "sit" and is making great progress with place and crate training. She also walks wonderfully on a leash. Continuing her training to build her confidence will be key to her success in a new home.
