Meet Links, a gentle soul learning that the world isn't so scary! Links is a nearly 6-month-old bully breed mix, born on January 5th. She came from an accidental litter where she and her siblings were cherished and well cared for, but they did not receive much socialization outside of their home environment. As a result, Links is experiencing many things for the first time. She has not had much exposure to strangers, car rides, leash walking, or busy environments, and because of this, she can be shy and cautious when meeting new people. She may take some time to warm up, but once you've earned her trust, you'll discover an incredibly sweet and loving girl. Links has the social experience of a much younger puppy and is still learning how to navigate the world with confidence. She is crate trained and has absolutely no behavioral issues – she simply needs patient adopters who understand that building confidence is a process and that every puppy develops at their own pace. Most of Links' siblings have already been placed in homes with children, cats, and other animals and are thriving. Like many of them, Links will likely need the most guidance when it comes to leash walking and learning that new experiences can be fun and rewarding. We are looking for a family that understands that puppies require time, patience, and realistic expectations. At this age, personalities are still developing, and you never truly know exactly who they'll grow up to be – but that's part of the adventure.
