Homer

Homer is a sweet and resilient 3-year-old, 50-pound pit bull mix who came into our care on April 16, 2025. He was found in a garage with food and blankets, suggesting he may have had a home at some point. Despite this unknown past, Homer has shown us his true colors: he's playful, affectionate, and incredibly devoted to his people. He forms strong bonds and is fiercely loyal, happiest when he's simply by the side of someone he trusts. The shelter environment can be a bit much for him, making him anxious, but we know his true, shining personality emerges in a calm and stable setting. He has so much love to give and is ready to leave shelter life behind for a cozy couch, good company, and a place to truly call his own.

Homer would thrive in a calm, stable home where he can relax and feel safe. He loves to stay close to his family.

Homer was recently neutered, is up to date on all his vaccinations, and is heartworm negative.
