Zac

Zac is a charming 5-year-old, neutered Anatolian Shepherd mix who weighs about 60 pounds. He was rescued from a county shelter and underwent FHO surgery on a back leg due to a previous injury. The surgery was successful, and Zac has fully healed with no ongoing medical needs or medications. He's a loyal companion with a perfect blend of playful energy and cuddly relaxation. Zac gets along wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes and has excellent canine manners. He's calm on walks and doesn't react to passing dogs, making him an easygoing companion for outings.

Ideal Home

Zac thrives on companionship and would do best in a home where he isn't left alone for long periods. He enjoys having other dogs around or people nearby to share his life with. His foster believes he would do well with a family willing to continue teaching him not to jump up when excited.

Ongoing Health

Zac has fully healed from his FHO surgery and requires no further medical intervention or medication.

Training & Support

Zac is house-trained and crate-trained. He may need continued guidance on not jumping up when excited.

Transporation

Zac is currently in San Antonio, Texas. He can be transported once an adopter is approved. Transport is included in the adoption donation.
