Opie

Opie is a handsome male Husky who is ready for his second chance at a loving home. He was found at Animal Control in a terrible condition, severely matted and neglected. We stepped in to give him the care he deserves. Some of his fur had to be shaved to relieve his pain, but he's growing it back beautifully. Opie is also heartworm positive, and we are working with our veterinarian to ensure he gets the best treatment for a full recovery. Despite his rough start, Opie is a sweet and resilient boy who is already showing us his loving spirit. With time, patience, and affection, he's sure to blossom into the wonderful companion he's meant to be!

Opie would thrive in a home where he can continue his recovery and receive lots of love and attention.

Opie is currently being treated for heartworm. We are partnering with our veterinarian to ensure he receives the best care throughout his recovery.

Training & Support

Opie is house-trained. He has shown to be good with dogs and children under 8. Further interactions with children 8 and up and cats are unknown.
