Bolt

Bolt is a handsome Maremma mix with a strong resemblance to the Great Pyrenees in his build, personality, and temperament. He's a wonderfully calm and observant fellow, a bit thoughtful at first, but he blossoms into a fun-loving and exceptionally capable guardian dog. Bolt takes his job very seriously and excels at it. He gets along well with other dogs but prefers to dine separately, not out of aggression, but because he tends to guard his food until he's finished. He's happiest outdoors, diligently patrolling his territory. Bolt is accustomed to a 4-foot fence with a hot wire and respects its boundaries. He would also be content roaming freely on a farm once he's settled in, as he's unlikely to wander. He's not a dog that enjoys solitude and would thrive with one or two canine companions.

Ideal Home

Bolt is happiest outdoors and would do well on a farm or in a home with plenty of space to patrol. He needs at least one canine companion to be happy.
