This handsome seven-year-old Australian Cattle Dog, weighing in at 49 pounds, is a loyal heart wrapped in a blue mottled coat. Tofu is an intelligent and sensitive boy who thrives in a calm, predictable, and secure environment. Once he trusts you, he's a devoted companion who loves to be close to his favorite humans, whether that means lounging on the couch, joining you in the garden, or embarking on outdoor adventures!

Ideal Home

Tofu is looking for a calm, adult-only home with experienced pet parents who understand anxious or reactive dogs and are committed to thoughtful management and positive reinforcement. He needs a quiet environment tailored to his needs and is not comfortable around children. He can also be cautious around unfamiliar people and prefers slow, structured introductions, having had fear-based nip incidents when strangers approached him too quickly.

Training & Support

Tofu is a smart boy who has completed formal training and knows commands such as sit, down, place, roll, heel, come, shake, and high five. He responds well to structure and clear guidance, and a confident caregiver will help him feel at ease. He is generally good with other dogs and can live with a confident cat.
