Meet Jess! She's a beautiful, medium-sized girl with a unique dark blue-grey coat that gives her a hint of wolf-like charm. Jess has a gentle spirit and a story of resilience that makes her even more special.

She can be a little shy when you first meet her, but once she feels safe and understands her environment, Jess truly blossoms! Her confidence has been steadily growing since being rescued, and it’s been amazing to watch her come into her own. Once she warms up, she becomes playful, affectionate, and full of life. Jess enjoys playing, does well with other dogs, and loves being part of the action. She’s also very sweet with her people and will happily offer affection once she trusts you. We believe Jess is a mix of Pit Bull Terrier, Cattle Dog, and Labrador, bringing together intelligence, loyalty, and a playful spirit.

Jess was saved from a euthanasia list in Houston, Texas, and has been working hard in foster care to build her confidence and thrive. She is now ready to find a forever home where she can continue to shine and share her light.
