Rozi

Meet Rozi, a sweet and deeply loved 5.5-year-old Red Labrador Retriever. Rozi was originally adopted as a puppy and spent nearly six years in a committed family home. She is an extremely affectionate and people-loving dog who bonds quickly, enjoys attention, cuddling, and being part of daily life. Rozi also does well with other dogs and has successfully attended doggy daycare. She is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows many tricks, making her a very smart companion. Rozi enjoys outdoor time, fetch, and simply being near her people. She thrives on routine, connection, and companionship.

Ideal Home

Rozi is looking for a stable, adult-focused home. She would do well with dog-savvy teenagers and adults. Rozi is NOT compatible with young children or cats. Her ideal family would be 40s or older with no interaction with children, grandchildren, etc. A home with a fenced yard would be ideal for her to enjoy outdoor time.

Ongoing Health

Rozi is in excellent health. She is on a daily, low-cost medication for urinary incontinence, which is well-tolerated and fully effective.

Training & Support

Rozi's primary management consideration is her response to young children. While she is generally calm and social, she has reacted and bitten in specific situations where a young child approaches her too quickly or corners her. It is crucial that she is not placed in a home with young children or a home where children visit. Her prey drive is strong, so she is also not appropriate for homes with cats.
